I had a great experience in Navabrindavana. Nearly 35 people started from chennai and came to Mantralayam on 30th Septemebr\' 07 at 12.00 am. We had nice Rayar darshan and had rayar prasadam. We went to bichalaya where Appannachar - Disciple of Ragavendra swamy served his Guru and in the evening we again went to the mutt and had rathosava darshan. Next day - 1st Oct\' 07 we started to Aanekundhi rayar mutt to visit Navabrindavana, it is a 3 to 4 hrs travel and Aanekundhi mutt helped, guided us a lot and arranged for boats to cross the river Thungabadra. Had holy bath in Thungabadra and climbed a small hill and we found 9 live brindavana of Madhwa saints. The beauty in this is we found brindavana of Vyasarajar, who is the earlier generation of Guru Rayar. We are not suppose to cross the yellow line painted around the brindavanams, not suppose to touch too. If we go once in a while, our sins in life will be reduced. Before you start to Aanekundhi, kindly check with the mutt whether the water level in the river is normal, because the transportation will be cancelled if the water level is high. Best time to darshan navabrindavan is during maalyapaksha (dusshera festival). Lets all join hands and pray to Guru Raya for the prosperity of this world.

Happy and Holy Journey!!!

We\'ve been trying to visit the sacred Navabrindavan. But could not get directions. If you could please give us directions to get here, we would be grateful. Which is the nearest airport, or train station? And how do we get to Navabrindavan from the airport/railway station. Thank you.
